DECORATION PAINT GEORGIAN GREEN

The name Georgian Green

refers to the grey-green colour, which you can find in the interiors of the Georgian period, an era in British history where kings were named George. This period lasted from 1714 to 1830. Well-known British art from this period are works made by Mary Shelley, Jane Austen, James Wyatt, William Blake, Lord Byron, William Wordsworth, Turner and Constable. People also refer to this period as 'the Romantic Period'. When looking at interiors of this period you'll see a lot of green, blue and grey; the colours most used back then.
