The name Pompeii
is an ancient Roman city in the province of Naples, which the romans used to use as a resort. The Romans, the Greeks, Etruscans, and Samnites Osken, all have left their mark on this city. After a major eruption of the volcano 'Vesuvius', the city was buried by ash and rocks. Making it become one of the best preserved Roman cities, when it was discovered in the 18th century. Many things such as wall paintings, pots, dishes, full bath houses and other buildings have remained intact.
